Søren Bjønness is Director and Switzerland Representative for Euronext, supporting Swiss Tech companies and tech ecosystem. He started his career in 1988 in the Royal Norwegian Navy, where he became a Second Lieutenant. His career includes environmental management, corporate banking, securitization and management buy-outs at UBS, Private Equity at 3i, corporate incubation at Sulzer, venture capital at New Value, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets at PwC. Søren holds a Degree in Leadership, Organisation, Finance and Economic Policy from the University of Fribourg and completed a doctorate in Leadership and Change in SMEs at the University of Basel. His passion is to develop companies consciously to excel.

KEYNOTE #2: Trends in venture capital funding and the shift towards applied VC
Luke has more than seven years experience in Venture Capital investing from pre-seed to Series C in sectors including digital health, fintech and edtech. He is currently an Investor at Forward Partners a pre-seed and seed stage VC which invests capital and provides hands on support to ecommerce, marketplace and applied AI companies where he works closely with companies including CountingUp, Up Learn, Ably and EmpowerRD. Prior to Forward Partners, Luke was on the investment team at REV Venture Partners, a corporate VC, with a focus on large scale data & analytics, digital health and digital media. He was previously a consultant with the strategy consultancy Oliver Wyman.
Luke originally planned a career in science and he holds a PhD in biochemistry.

Michele has 5+ years experience in working with tech startup entrepreneurs to expand their business internationally and scale their operations/sales. In 2015 he successfully launched a new tech product worldwide, negotiated and closed the first sales contracts with Fortune 500 corporates, while setting up and managing global operations and sales at MakrShakr. In 2013 and 2014 Michele released two startups documentaries on YouTube that collectively reached millions of viewers.His combined technological and business background allows Michele to develop structured and measurable approaches in studying, designing and optimising processes. He is an experienced public speaker and lecturer in technology and entrepreneurship at several business schools.Areas of interest/expertise: Deep Tech, Startups, Blockchain, Token Economics, Fintech, Robotics, AI.

Jean-Marc Bonnefous is the founding and managing partner of Tellurian Capital Management LLP, a London based investment management firm focused on commodity strategies. Over the years, he has developed a recognized expertise in managing financial investments for institutional and private investors and in starting new businesses. Prior to launching Tellurian in the asset management space, he was an investment banker at BNP Paribas, and most recently, until 2006, the Global Head of Commodity Derivatives at BNP Paribas based in New York and London. He built and managed the commodity derivative trading business at BNP Paribas across a wide range of commodity assets out of Europe, the US and Asia. Jean-Marc Bonnefous participated in the early development of the new structured derivative market in oil, natural gas and base metals from the 1990’s.
Jean-Marc is also a professor adjunct in finance at the IE Business School in Madrid. He holds a graduate degree from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (SciencesPo), as well as a Master of Laws from the University of Paris-Assas and a Postgraduate degree (DESS) in Banking and Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine.

After heading Polyglot Group's Australian operations for 7 years, Jacques is now leading their global Market Development efforts from Spain. Not deterred by time zones, Jacques works with the teams across borders to provide clients with constant support.
As a French-Australian living in Spain, Jacques speaks fluent French, English and Spanish. Not one to settle, Jacques’s burning self-incentive has also seen him study German and Mandarin.

Korean online grocer, and pet tech platform Felcana, 2019 IT Innovators of the Year (Health Investor).
Spyro was awarded TMT Rising Star in 2017. Previously, he held corporate strategy and investment roles with
Sky, Liberty Global and Cable & Wireless. Spyro started his career as a corporate lawyer at Gilbert & Tobin and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
